Indya is the latest restaurant by Indian Michelin chef Vineet Bhatia. Located at the Le Royal Meriden Beach Resort and Spa, the mood board of the interior is all about bright, bold and big motifs. The designers at LW Design envisioned a particular shade of grey for the countertops, and choosing a glazed lava stone was the only solution due to the intense heat caused by the tandoors upon which the stone was placed. The outcome is a piece of "functional art" in the restaurant fitting the client's design vision as well as its utility.
